The house is located one kilometer from a small village called Castel dell’Aquila. The closest town is Amelia, 11 km away. The construction is 30 – 40 years ago, in excellent condition

It is immersed in a copse of holm oaks whose autumn colors rival the palette of Flemish painters. The primordial scents of earth and stone permeate the air.

It is equipped with independent oil heating but for the cool evenings in spring it is better
the magnificent fireplace to gather in front of a barbecue of excellent local meats.

It is made up of four bedrooms (one with 2 bunk beds and a double bed, one double room, one with a double bed and a double sofa bed, a smaller one with a single bed. In the living room there are two single sofa beds and one double, for a total of 15 beds. There is a large double-height living room with three sofas, small tables and various stools to be placed around the fireplace.

WHO WE ARE
We are a quiet couple, I am a retired pediatrician and my wife is a psychologist. We love the colors of the forest in autumn, its scents and its vitality in spring, we like to share the warmth of the hearth, the flavor of grilled meat with friends.
